The midnight journey

The first thing Plop did in his journey was hunting. They were so hungry, but luckily they found the mice and that was because neither of them had had their dinner. Then once they had finished Orion led Plop to an icy lake that looked like glass.

 “Wow!” said Plop, looking at the moon and ice. “I’ve never seen a lake like this!” “You have now,” said Orion. Then they saw a trapped fish.  Orion was a helpful cat, so he carefully rescued the fish not daring to eat it and took it to an unfrozen pool.

Then Orion took Plop to a frosty sparkling winter tree. When Plop saw it he couldn’t believe his eyes.  He said, “I didn’t know frost was so sparkly!” “Well you do know now!” said Orion.  It was so much fun seeing all the things you could see when you’re a night bird Plop realised.  Then Orion asked if Plop wanted to go and sit on the tree.  Plop said yes. So they both  went up the tree and started to talk.

When they stopped talking they had a snowball fight. They had a great time playing, hunting and exploring. Then Plop said, “Can we have another snowball fight?” “Yes,” said Orion. Plop won the first snowball fight and Orion won the second. It was so cold they did a warm up.

Fireworks!

Like sparkly raindrops.

Bursting like shooting stars.

Screeching bangs of different noises.

Whizzing and twirling in the night sky.

Wow a whirling gold waterfall.

Radical showers of trees.

Like a spider web.

Sparkly lollipop.

The haunted house

One dark and spooky Halloween evening a little girl and her sister were trick or treating. They were at the last house they knocked on the door, knock, knock the door began to open with a creak it got louder and louder. Sophie and Katy were frightened. Sophie and Katy stepped in they heard a scream it was a witch. The witch was friendly. The witch was sorry that she didn’t get the door she gave the children some sweets Sophie and Katy went home.

The haunted house

One dark spooky Halloween evening a little boy called Luke
went trick or treating. He knocked on a door and heard pumpkins rumbling and they had come to life. Ahh shouted Luke. He ran in the house without care but a ghost pirate appeared, so the ghostbusters arrived and they sucked it all up. Then the pumpkins in came back but the ghost busters sucked them up. So they escaped and said happy Halloween everyone ha ha ha ha!!!

Haunted Mansion

On a dark and stormy night I tiptoed out of my house and a strike of lightning hit a glowing tent. As I walked closer it got bigger and bigger until it was ENORMOUS! I was terrified! The tent turned into a haunted mansion! I heard howling, bangs and crashes. The door was carved into a Dracula face. I was about to knock the door and it swung open all by itself. There was a Dracula waiter and he threw me in the yard. It was a graveyard. It was full of zombies. They were after me. Skeletons started backing through the graves. I woke up and it was just a dream!
